First of all, I find the child abuse scandal in the Catholic Church repugnant and appalling. When the story first broke, my heart broke with it.  I was so shocked and saddened I almost left the church for good. In fact had the church not started taking action and denouncing the deviant behavior of the scum in its clergy pool, I would have left without hesitation. The question I find myself asking now–esp in the face of the Ireland scandal– is this: Is the church doing enough to clean the scum?

Ron Lake of Nipomo, CA, goes to extremes. When Ron got sick of Santa getting all the Christmas love, he made a Christmas scene in his yard for all the kids in his neighborhood to see. The scene depicts a shotgun-toting Jesus blasting old Santa out of his boots.

Of course Ron’s scene caught the attention of his neighbors, they called the police and soon thereafter the media came snooping. When a reporter from KCOY asked Ron what the $#@% he was thinking, he explained as clear as mud:  “You can tell your kids and make it as if there’s a Santa Claus, and let them believe all that, but you can’t explain these things or ignore this thing.  I don’t get it. Here’s a piece of news you won’t find on any CUCK^[i] websites. The Vatican has issued a statement sharply rebuking Uganda’s anti homosexual legislation saying, “The Holy See continues to oppose all grave violations of human rights against homosexual persons, such as the use of the death penalty, torture and other cruel, inhuman and degrading punishment.

“The Holy See also opposes all forms of violence and unjust discrimination against homosexual persons, including discriminatory penal legislation which undermines the inherent dignity of the human person.” (more…)
