In this video one of the 700 Club’s Fox News’ talking heads suggests Tiger may never recover, may have lost his family, and should choose Jesus over Budda because Buddism doesn’t “offer the type of forgiveness” Tiger needs. When teleprompter-reliant desk jockeys are giving sermons to pro athletes, you know the “greatest generation” has officially left the building.
Who is Brit Hume? In a word: no one. He’s essentially a run-of-the-mill news hound with an english major (a divorced one at that). Who made this guy spiritual guru to the stars? Don’t we have enough of those? What’s next? A live therapy session on Pay Per View with Rabbi Shmuley Botea and the Woods couple? And what’s with the negativity about Tiger’s future? Who’s to say he doesn’t come back and shatter every record in the history of golf?
Every time a celebrity stumbles we are inundated with righteous opinion disguised as “analysis and debate.” It’s getting really old. I don’t want to hear crusty old teleprompter news anchors wax theological about forgiveness. I have a priest at church. I want to hear the news. Is that so much to ask ?

“When teleprompter-reliant desk jockeys are giving sermons to pro athletes, you know the “greatest generation” has officially left the building.”
When a trolling theist thinks that talking head teleprompter-reliant desk jockeys are worth listening to, you know the “greatest generation” has left the building AND they had no idea what they are talking about.
Yah, because back in the day Sports figures NEVER EVER cheated on their wives. Or is it perhaps Talking Heads never went there because what goes on between a man and wife is none of your business.
The good old days is just another way to complain that people don’t take them as seriously as they used to.
Alemonope you sound very angry. Go smell a flower would ya?
Yep Katie that there is one mad troll.
Katie, does everyone you disagree with sound angry to you?
