It was only a matter of time before someone humanized Darwin. Who knew he was a great father, a loving husband, a sensitive, kindhearted loving man? Well, I did–but then again I prefer knowledge over ignorant bliss. According to Wikipedia: “Creation is a partly biographical, partly fictionalized account of Charles Darwin’s relationship with his eldest daughter, Annie, as he struggles to write On the Origin of Species. Now I have not seen the film yet but it seems to me we’re going to see Darwin as yet another tormented, reluctant brainiac who can’t come to terms with his own brilliance. The kind of film perhaps that makes you yell things at the tele like, “Oh publish the book already ya wanka!”  OK,  only if you were a Brit’ .. but you get the point. .. or not.

If you’ve seen the film drop us a note here and let us know what you thought.
